This is a introduction of Oda Nobunaga from Wikipedia. Oda Nobunaga was born on June 23, 1534 and was given the childhood name of Kippōshi. He was the second son of Oda Nobuhide. Through his childhood and early teenage years, he was well known for his bizarre behavior and received the name of Owari no Ōutsuke (The Fool of Owari).
In my opinion. Oda Nobunaga’s bizarre behaviour doesn’t means he is a fool. I think His bizarre behaviour proved he is a genius not a fool. I know a story of Nobunaga. His father died when he was 15. But he didn’t attend the obsequies on time. When he went to the obsequies, people found he didn’t wear his clothes. A bonze asked him to incense his father. But he trough the incense on the ground and left the obsequies. Every people in the obsequies thought he is crazy. I think Nobunaga throw his incense not because he is crazy. He doesn’t trust Buddha. I think he throw his incense because he thinks it is no meaning to give a incense to a dead. I think he knows his father won’t resurrection whatever he does. So he prefer to do something meaningful. He doesn’t want to waste time.
